Funding successful

Dear backers,

We’re excited to announce that the Woman at Work crowdfunding campaign has now ended and fully funded by 131% – thank you so much for all of your help on making this happen. We also wanted to share a note from author Margaret Calvert on this amazing news:

I am more than delighted that the book has been successfully crowdfunded, so a massive thank you to you all. Now to get the book produced!

Thank you again for your kind support. We look forward to taking you behind the scenes of making this incredible book once production begins in the new year.

Brilliant News!
I work in Art education. When I speak at conferences, presentations and in classrooms I try to promote Margaret’s work. It astonishes me that the most influential and recogniseable contemporary artist isn’t better known. People respond to her work daily and yet don’t, in the main, know her name! I hope that this publication will go some way to change this.
I can’t wait for my ‘Women at Work’ sign as well!!

i can’t wait for the book, congratulations :), one thing from the preview page photos. Please don’t have lots of empty white space taking up areas of pages, even if the images are nice & large (which they should be) even with a header & small image description, i’d rather see related images with more detailed description, next to the main images, rather than empty white space, please fill the pages will nice big images, enough detail & descriptions. :) please include right up to the new, Rail Alphabet 2. typeface.

Congratulations! So excited to add this to my studio library, and learn more about Margaret Calvert’s design origins and journey. I too was born in South Africa. It’s so wonderful to see outstanding women getting the recognition they deserve.
