First look at the advance copies
Dear backers
We’re thrilled to let you know that Type Archived has been printed, bound and is on its way to the Volume warehouse.
Advance copies – and their custom mailers – are looking fantastic and have reassured us that all of the fine-tuning and repro work earlier in the year was time well spent.
We will follow up with a reminder in our next update to give ample time to confirm your details ahead of shipping in November.

Sincere congratulations – very much looking forward to seeing this … hard to believe we are approaching twenty years since the painful months of the Type Museum’s closure – my daughter was born then and is now in her second year at art school!
London College of Communication (formerly the LCP) from whom many vistors and volunteers came will son be moving into its new building at Elephant and with the end of the old Workshop building will it seems also lose much of its letterpress capability known to generations of its staff and students of the typographic arts.
