Collector’s Set shipping update
Dear Collector’s Set backer,
I’m delighted to let you know that your copies are now ready for dispatch!
The Engineering the Word books, which were printed from metal type at Hand & Eye in London before being sewn and cased at Ludlow Bindery in Shropshire, then travelled to Sussex where I numbered each, wrapped them in their Alan Kitching dust jackets and inserted them into their unique slipcases along with signed copies of Type Archived. These sets are a limited edition of 100 copies and, I’m pleased to say, feel like something truly special.

It’s been a long journey to get to this point and I want to thank you sincerely again for your support and patience. I’m very proud of these books and am looking forward to them being in your hands, at last.

Great news, looking forward! Congratulations!
Congratulations, Richard! I look forward to reviewing this accomplishment in-person when my copy arrives. Thank you and the others involved for your important contribution to documenting the Type Archive for the rest of us.
