A message from Brooke DiDonato

Dear backer,

It’s been a few months since Take a Picture, It Will Last Longer was fully funded and we have been hard at work creating a beautiful book for you. 

I’ve loved imagining how each body of work will flow into the next, and ultimately, all live together in one place. Vintage wallpapers will guide you from one section of the book to another, as if moving through different rooms in a house. I am still making final touches on a few new images, but we are getting close.

Here is the newest addition to the book "Soften the Blow". All of my favorite pillows will soon be immortalized in print – thank you for making this possible.

We are looking forward to sharing more updates with you in 2025 as the development and production of Take a Picture, It Will Last Longer progresses.

There will be a trade edition released in January 2026 that you will be able to purchase in bookstores and on Amazon.
